Mission Statement:
The Rio Arriba County Fire Marshal's Office is dedicated to working closely with all agencies of the fire service to improve the county preparedness for fire emergencies.
Rio Arriba County is the lead local government agency responsible for the fire district in Rio Arriba County.
The Fire Marshal's Office works within the County to:
- Provide the leadership and support to reduce the loss of life, property and the natural environment in all types of fire emergencies.
- Create partnerships with other federal agencies, state and local governments, volunteer organizations and with the private sector.
- Provide rapid and effective response to any emergency.
